TDS044 - Double Edge Axe Pair 双片双斧
The ancient double axes are made of lightweight forge steel blade. Both the blade and handle are designed from the legendary hero Li Kwei some 2600 years ago. Comes in 2 Styles: Wushu Steel has wood handles with each ax measuring 25.5". The weight of each axe is 3 lbs.
This item is used by many Southern Chinese martial artists in demonstrations. Today this item is used as an excellent martial arts training tool and a fine ornament. Sold as a pair
Like many martial arts equipments, the Double Edge Axe started out as a common tool, that was later modified for combat use. The routines are designed to perform weilding one axe in each hand. These equipments are popular primarily in Soutnern Chinese martial arts.
