SF002 - Rope Dart

The rope dart is a long rope with a Stainless metal dart tied to one end.   the user can throw the dart out at a long range target and uses the rope to pull it back. The rope dart can be used for twining, binding, circling, hitting, piercing, tightening and many more.

Just like the whip chain, high hand-eye coordination is a must for the practitioner to do this equipment well. Normally the whip chain and Changquan are the prerequisites for the rope dart.

The Rope Dart is classified as a soft equipment, one which is jointed or easily bent. Most soft equipment are used as secondary equipment and employed only when the main equipment is disabled or lost. Because of their flexibility, they are easily hidden, commonly fastened to the back, the waist, or the arm and do not interfere with mobility during combat. Soft equipment are typically used for disabling an adversary. Although they may not have the killing potential and the efficiency of other equipment, they can be deadly when striking at sensitive areas and cause internal injuries.
