It was formed in 1906 before the Revolution of 1911, combined with Yue-family spear, Pear-flower Spear and Liuhe Spear, with the eight fundamental techniques. It can be used on the horse, and is very efficient in fights and wars as there are no flashy movements in this form, this used to be the required training course during war during early 20th century.
